What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining equipment reliability and supporting continuous production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, set up, and commission industrial machinery according to technical specifications and safety standards.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to quickly identify root causes.

Perform repairs on complex industrial equipment and production machinery.

Complete preventive maintenance programs to reduce unexpected downtime and extend equipment life.

Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.

Inspect machinery and systems to identify potential issues before they become costly failures.

Utilize diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance best practices to ensure reliable repairs.

Maintain detailed maintenance records, repair logs, and parts inventory documentation.

Partner with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities and support efficient workflows.

Follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures while servicing equipment.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on complex equipment and production systems.

Solid electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.

Experience working in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.

Knowledge of pneumatic systems, including valves, actuators, regulators, and air-powered equipment.

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders, motors, and fluid power components.

Advanced troubleshooting skills across multiple disciplines.

Ability to perform both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs with confidence.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with PLCs, motor controls, and automation systems.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Georgetown, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $75000.00/yr. Adient in Georgetown, KY offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off and paid holidays. Employees also benefit from opportunities for overtime pay, and wellness programs designed to help reduce healthcare costs.
