Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during day shift hours
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health records system for accurate and timely documentation
• Float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
• Active New York State RN license required (verified via current Nursys)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Demonstrated proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; must have own vehicle
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Telemetry when needed
• Completion of approved Verbal De-escalation training (Welle or CPI) required for onboarding
• Must be able to complete a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or regional community hospital ICU environment
• Familiarity with coronary care or telemetry monitoring in addition to critical care
