As a push-in resource teacher, you will work closely with general education teachers to co-teach in a minimum of two content subject areas, ensuring inclusive practices and providing targeted support for students with varying needs. To excel in this position, ideal candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience in resource or co-teaching settings, preferably at the middle school level
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with general education staff and families
• Familiarity with accommodating diverse learning needs and implementing IEPs
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing push-in and co-teaching instruction in at least two subject areas
• Managing a caseload of 15-20 students and implementing individualized education plans
• Assessing student progress and adapting strategies as needed
• Maintaining records and communicating with parents and educational teams
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development as required
