Radiation Therapist

Role Overview: Responsible for administering radiation therapy to patients, ensuring precise treatment delivery and accurate patient positioning. Key Responsibilities Prepare, position, and select anatomical parameters for patients. Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver treatment plans. Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and equipment calibration. Operate and adjust linear accelerators and related equipment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and document image quality. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department environment. Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Completion of Radiation Oncology program and ARRT-T credential. Associate's degree or radiation certification program completion. No prior experience required. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and perform patient handling tasks. Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills. Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association. ARRT-T Radiation Therapy certification.
