Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Unarmed Facility Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support facility protocols, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and responding agencies while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming care environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
