Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Level 3 (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend & Holidays Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognize and interpret serious situations, prioritize care, and take immediate appropriate action.
• Initiate emergency measures when a physician is not immediately available.
• Operate and monitor specialized emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures, and coordinated care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• May float to Medical-Surgical or ICU units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (all mandatory prior to start).
• Ventilator experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in or floating to ICU or Medical-Surgical units.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate care delivery and documentation across multidisciplinary teams.
