Position Summary Sales Specialist, Uro‑Oncology – promote Ferring’s intravesical gene therapy for bladder cancer in the Los Angeles, CA region. This role focuses on achieving sales quotas, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and managing territory resources. Location Parsippany, New Jersey Responsibilities Promote and sell Ferring products to attain or exceed established sales quotas. Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers. Prepare and submit timely, accurate reports to management and other Ferring stakeholders. Participate in sales field rides and pursue developmental opportunities based on results. Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Effectively deploy and coordinate territory resources, including marketing materials and approved sales tools. Create, own and develop effective relationships with approved and targeted customers. Monitor and manage district expenses, budgets and sample allotments. Represent Ferring at professional industry meetings and seminars. Requirements Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 4 years of buy‑and‑bill medical or pharmaceutical sales experience. Strongly desired: 2+ years in Oncology and/or Urology; bladder cancer experience preferred. Ability to achieve or exceed sales objectives. Ability to identify potential customers and expand the customer base. Ability to meet expense management and demand generation goals. Physical Requirements Sitting 3–4 hours at a time while driving or as a passenger; driving up to 60% of the time. Walking up to 15% of the time. Climbing stairs or ramps may be required in urban territories. Standing for more than 1–2 hours at a time. Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling items weighing up to 20 pounds. Long‑distance travel by airplane or other commercial conveyance approximately 2–3 times per year; additional travel may be required. Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $150,000–$180,000. Variable incentive compensation is paid as sales commissions based on individual and geographic performance.
