Situated in a welcoming community, this role spans from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, providing stable, full-time weekday hours from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Special Education Teacher license issued by the State of South Carolina (required—no exceptions)
• Previous experience teaching or supporting students in early childhood or elementary grades highly preferred
• Strong understanding of early intervention strategies, IEP development and implementation, and differentiated instruction
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction to 3K and 4K students, adapting lessons to support diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, working closely with families, related service providers, and school staff
• Employ evidence-based practices to address academic, social, and behavioral goals
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in school meetings, professional development sessions, and multidisciplinary teams
