Transportation Assistant - Substitute Positions

Join Pasco County Schools as a Transportation Assistant Trainee!

During the weeklong training, you will learn about School Bus Leadership, Special Needs Equipment Installation, and Employee Responsibilities.


Upon successful completion of the training class, you may become employed as a Substitute Transportation Assistant.


Please note that we are currently only hiring Substitute Transportation Assistants.

You will be paid during the weeklong training period as a Temporary Employee $15 per hour.


Employment is contingent upon Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET) which allows the District to make a conditional offer of employment to a potential candidate based on ability to perform essential physical functions of a job.
