Product Designer

Product Designer Remote | Full-time | 3+ years experience Fursure is building a new platform for financial well-being for pet owners, starting with insurance and now with modern banking and debit card rewards. Our mission is to make sure the 185 million pets in the US get the care they need, without it becoming a financial decision. We are a small, pet-loving team coming from tech, data science, product, finance, and veterinary backgrounds. Our co-founders have been recognized by Forbes magazine and lending our team a unique blend of product and data expertise. We are a seed-stage startup well funded by top VCs and angel investors and are hiring folks interested in building amazing products at the intersection of pets, fintech, and healthcare. About the Role As our founding Product Designer on the team, you'll have ownership over shaping, collaborating, and contributing to our product vision and user experience. We are looking for a well-rounded individual for this role that can think strategically to help solve complex business challenges in a collaborative virtual team environment. What You'll Do Collaborate closely with product and customer experience peers to iteratively improve UX across our products to delight our customers Lead the creation of user flows/journeys, mockups, wireframes, prototypes to inform strategic and business decisions Support product and engineering with customer research to build and design new features Maintain our brand identity across the mobile and web, card, marketing content & more. Develop compelling rewarding experiences based on gamification Help execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy Who You Are 3+ years experience in Product Design (e.g. UX/UI) designing products customers love! Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch) Comfortability with design in a 0-to-1 environment; excitement about building and designing from scratch Exceptional skills in visual design, design thinking, written communication, and story-telling Have a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality work Passion for animals :) Experience working in a fast-moving, high-growth consumer fintech company and/or pet-related companies General knowledge of web vitals and metrics (e.g., Content Layout Shift, Largest Contentful Paint, etc.) Skills in illustrations and interactive animations Interested in learning more?
