About the Role:
Join Lasting Impressions Child Development Center as a Kitchen Assistant, where you will play a vital role in nourishing our children and supporting their growth. Be a part of a caring team dedicated to creating a safe and healthy environment for young learners in Clarksburg, WV.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a healthy environment.
Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
Support the teaching staff during meal times and snack sessions.
Help with food storage and labeling to ensure freshness and safety.
Participate in kitchen maintenance and equipment cleaning.
Requirements:
Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen assistance preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Must pass background checks and health screenings.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Passion for working with children and promoting healthy eating habits.
