Role Description The Marketing & HR Pursuit Specialist / Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bethesda, MD. This position supports tmarketing and potential employee pursuits across the company.

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end process of winning new business.
• Manage pursuit of potential staff, job descriptions, advertisement, setting up interviews, assisting with letter of offer.
• Creating, formatting, and submitting proposals and qualifications packages.
• Creating / updating project sheets, corporate / staff resumes
• Creating and assisting with presentations
• Assisting with marketing activities via trade shows, trade organizations, and job fairs inclusive of setting up speaking engagements and exhibits/displays for technical staff and marketing efforts.
• Assist with Generating project and job candidate leads.
• Provide project management and administrative support throughout the procurement and business development lifecycle.
• Responsible for ensuring that proposals, qualification statements, and interview presentations are strictly compliant with Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) document requirements, structurally organized, and submitted before strict deadlines.
• Quality Assurance & Editing: Proofreading, formatting, and editing proposals for brand continuity, grammatical accuracy, and clarity.
• Interview Prep: Assist teams with generating post-proposal interview materials, shortlist slide decks, and presentation graphics.
• Act as a central hub, collaborating daily with technical teams, corporate leaders, and marketing staff to create winning collateral
• Serve as chief liaison for EDG promotions including sports tickets and gifts
• Maintaining regular contact with EDG parent and sister companies’ offices.
• Maintaining the marketing materials inclusive of Website Updates, Approved Social Media platforms, Project Sheets, Qualification Packages, etc.
• Utilizing Ai for marketing efforts.
• Organizing marketing efforts at approved functions
• Setting up potential client and employee interviews
• Attending professional association events
• Participating in committee work
• Managing the production of promotional material
• Other responsibilities as required or assigned

Qualifications

Association of Proposal Management Professionals ( APMP Foundation ) certification, a 4 year degree in Marketing or Business Management, or with 2-5 years of pursuit management experience in the Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Industries.

Technical Skills & Tools

• Desktop Publishing
• Collaboration Software: Expert familiarity with Microsoft 365 systems, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Database Management: Proficiency utilizing CRM Systems (such as Deltek Vantagepoint/Vision or Salesforce) to track pursuits and generate pipeline metrics.

• Time & Deadline Management: The ability to calmly handle multiple concurrent proposals with overlapping, unyielding deadlines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams spanning executive leadership, technical engineering staff, and external subconsultants.
• Meticulous Eye for Detail: Highly thorough when reviewing documentation, spotting typos, adjusting margins, and confirming alignment with rigorous client criteria.
