Production Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations in a metals fabrication and machine shop environment. This role is responsible for meeting production schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly operations. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage daily production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments Supervise and support shop-floor personnel, including machinists, welders, and fabricators Monitor workflow, capacity, and WIP to maximize efficiency and throughput Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and work instructions Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping teams Drive process improvements to reduce scrap, rework, and downtime Track production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in metals fabrication and/or machining 2+ years in a production or manufacturing management role Strong understanding of CNC machining, fabrication processes, and scheduling Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Preferred Job shop manufacturing experience Lean or continuous improvement experience ISO 9001 or similar quality system exposure Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance bonus potential Health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
