Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Full-time position in a critical access facility near Aberdeen, South Dakota. The role focuses on delivering high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and obstetric procedures in a supportive rural hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and obstetric procedures

2. Administer regional anesthesia including epidurals and spinal blocks

3. Insert and manage central lines and perform ultrasound-guided nerve blocks

4. Monitor patients during surgery and adjust anesthetics as needed

5. Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers

6. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety protocols

7. Demonstrate strong communication and leadership within the care team

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthetist program approved by the AANA

• Licensed and registered as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in South Dakota

• Current ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability essential

Preferred Skills:

• Proven experience in OB anesthesia and critical access settings
