Desktop Support Technician

VWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Imaging & Deployment Technician to support the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of endpoint devices across the organization. This role is responsible for imaging, provisioning, deploying, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and related hardware while ensuring compliance with company standards and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager), ServiceNow, Windows operating systems, and enterprise device deployment processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Create, maintain, and deploy Windows desktop and laptop images using Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager).

Configure and deploy operating systems, applications, and security updates to endpoint devices.

Manage device provisioning, hardware refreshes, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement programs.

Troubleshoot imaging, deployment, driver, software installation, and operating system issues.

Coordinate equipment staging, deployment scheduling, and end-user migrations.

Utilize ServiceNow for incident management, request fulfillment, asset tracking, and documentation.

Ensure all assets are accurately inventoried and tracked through established IT asset management processes.

Deploy and support peripherals including monitors, printers, docking stations, and mobile devices.

Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk teams to maintain endpoint standards and compliance.

Support Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments and Office 365 applications.

Perform software packaging, testing, and deployment through SCCM.

Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Monitor deployment success rates and resolve deployment-related issues in a timely manner.

Provide technical support to end users during deployment and migration activities.

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience in desktop support, imaging, deployment, or endpoint management.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).

Experience utilizing ServiceNow for ticket management, asset management, and workflow tracking.

Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

Experience with OS deployment, task sequences, driver management, and software distribution.

Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Spokane, WA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
