Sacramento Montessori School is looking for a warm, nurturing, dependable Infant Teacher who understands that caring for babies is about much more than keeping them safe.

And it's about creating a calm environment where babies can develop at their own pace.
If you are passionate about infants and want to be part of a supportive Montessori school, we would love to meet you.

As part of our team, you will receive:

• Support from experienced teachers and administrators
• Opportunities to grow within the school
• The opportunity to build meaningful relationships with infants and their families
• A team committed to providing high-quality early childhood care and education

What You'll Do

As an Infant Teacher, you will help provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for babies during one of the most important stages of their development.
Your responsibilities will include:

Montessori Experience Is a Plus — But Not Required

You don't need to be a Montessori expert to join our team.
If you are an experienced infant teacher or early childhood professional who wants to learn Montessori, we are willing to provide training and support for the right candidate.
Experience with infants in a preschool, childcare center, nanny setting, family childcare home, Early Head Start, or similar environment is welcome.
We Believe Infant Care Is Education

Our youngest children deserve intentional, respectful care.
Every diaper change is an opportunity for connection.
Every feeding is an opportunity for communication.
Every movement is an opportunity for development.
Every interaction helps build the foundation for future learning.
Our goal is to create an infant environment where children feel safe, loved, respected, and capable.
If you believe in that kind of care, we want you on our team.
