The primary purpose of the Pathologist Assistant position is to describe and prosect routine and complex surgical pathology specimens under the supervision of a trained pathologist, assist in autopsies, and distribute test requests to requesting patient care unit, facility or physician.Your Job Requirements:• Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) required• or, Master's of Science degree• Graduation from a program approved by the American Association of Pathologist's Assistant PA(ASCP), or eligibleYour Job Responsibilities:• Communicate clearly and openly• Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment• Be accountable for your performance• Always look for ways to improve the patient experience• Take initiative for your professional growth• Be engaged and eager to build a winning teamMethodist Dallas Medical Center is one of North Texas’ best places to work.
