Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Cardiovascular OR Tech/Surgical Tech!


Job Description:
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- Specialty: Cardiovascular OR Tech / Surgical Tech
- Weekend/On Call:
- 1 call shift per week
- 1 full weekend per month
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years in a busy CVOR
- First-time travelers accepted!
- Location: Must be within 75 miles of the facility
- Charting System: Must have EPIC experience
- Facility Features:
- 23 ORs and 1 procedure room
- Engage in elective and emergency surgeries for both adults and pediatric patients
- Variety of service-specific specialties
- Certifications Required:
- BLS*
- NBSTSA or NCCT
- Skills:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Angioplasty/stenting
- Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Aortobifemoral bypass
- Appendectomy
- Aseptic Technique
- Atherectomy
- Cardiothoracic robotic surgery
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
- And many more specialized skills!
- Additional Details:
- Opportunities to float to general procedures when not busy in CVOR
- Comprehensive training and orientation provided
- Requirements for Application:
- Must have NY state license in hand to submit
- Candidates will float; experience in multiple specialties is a plus!
