Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney with strong civil litigation experience who enjoys advocating for plaintiffs and managing cases from initial investigation through resolution.

The attorney will manage a diverse caseload involving personal injury, insurance disputes, employment law, consumer protection, and other civil litigation matters .

Job Responsibilities

• Represent plaintiffs through all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation investigation and case development through trial and appeal.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production.
• Prepare for and participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Advocate for clients in court, including arguing motions and representing clients at trial.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients by providing case updates, legal guidance, and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are handled effectively and efficiently.
• Stay current on developments in civil litigation and apply sound legal strategies to advance clients' interests.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of client service.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience , preferably representing plaintiffs.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, rules of evidence, and trial advocacy.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• High level of professionalism, ethical standards, and commitment to client service.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote legal team.
