Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and ACLS/rhythm interpretation training.

Details

• Medical Surgical Combination unit within a Level 3 trauma teaching hospital
• 16 private rooms with patient ratios of 1:4, with 1:3 accommodations for acuity
• Geriatric and adult patient population
• 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM)
• 2 weekend shifts required per 2-week pay period
• Float requirements apply
• On-call requirements apply
• Uses Paragon (McKesson) EHR

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Must have training in ACLS or a rhythm interpretation course
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Experience with EKG/cardiac monitoring required
• Experience with respiratory assessment and support required
• Experience with medication titration required

Additional Information

• Care for patients with diagnoses including ETOH detox, post-PCI, DKA/HHS, cardiac, GI, and BIPAP support
• Standard professional dress code with no designated scrub color
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
