Shift: Days, Monday Friday, 8 hours per day

On-Call: 24/7 schedule, including two overnight shifts per month and one weekend shift every three months

Hours/Week: 40

Employment Type: 1099 Contractor

Certifications: Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery, Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery

Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in California

Experience: Minimum 1 year post-residency, specialized training in foot and ankle surgery

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic imaging interpretation
• Develop and oversee non-surgical treatment plans for foot and ankle conditions
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care, including wound management and rehab
• Perform a full range of foot and ankle surgeries, such as fracture fixation, arthroscopy, joint replacements, and deformity corrections
• Handle complex trauma, limb salvage, and high-acuity cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in resident education
• Provide urgent and emergent orthopedic care during on-call rotations
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to operational and research initiatives

What You Need

Required:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school
• Active, unrestricted medical license in California
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery
• Minimum 1 year post-residency experience

Preferred:

• Experience with complex trauma and limb salvage cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
