Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry (Stepdown Experience Required)
Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN License (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 4 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
- Stepdown experience required
- Experience reading cardiac monitors
- Experience managing cardiac drips
- Experience caring for post-surgical patients
- Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Fully COVID vaccinated
- Current Illinois Nurse Agency Certificate documentation required with submission
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Administer medications and cardiac drips as ordered
- Provide care for post-surgical and stepdown patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Supervise and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Additional Information:
- Night shifts, 12 hours
- Weekend and on-call requirements to be determined
- Traveler must meet all facility compliance requirements prior to start
