You won’t always be stuck behind a desk, your “office” is the jobsite, alongside customers who rely on your expertise to keep projects moving. **Why This Role Stands Out*** **Hands-on, field-based work** on real construction equipment* **Travel-focused role** with variety, typically home on weekends* **Clear growth path** into advanced technical roles, senior technician, training, or sales support* **Paid training and mentorship**-no prior machine control experience required* **Direct customer interaction**-build relationships and become a go-to problem solver* **Cutting-edge technology** in a growing construction retail environment **What You’ll Do*** Install and service **Topcon Machine Control systems** on: + Dozers + Motor Graders + Excavators + Skid Steers + Compactors + Pavers and Curb Machines* Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, hydraulic, and electronic systems to improve machine accuracy and performance* Research and diagnose technical issues to identify effective solutions* Provide **pre‐ and post‐sale technical support** for customers and sales teams via: + On-site visits + Phone + E-mail + Remote support tools* Represent the company professionally at customer job sites and build long-term relationships* Work outdoors in varied conditions: rain, heat, and cold are part of the job **What We’re Looking For*** Strong **mechanical and technical aptitude*** Comfort troubleshooting **electro‐mechanical**, hydraulic, and electronic systems* **Customer-first mindset** with strong communication skills* Quick learner who enjoys mastering new technology* Intermediate computer skills (software navigation, diagnostics, documentation)* Physically capable of: + Climbing onto large equipment + Lifting up to **75 pounds*** Willingness to travel as needed (travel fluctuates based on business demands)* Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record**Education & Experience*** High school diploma or trade school preferred* Field experience or prior work with: + Heavy equipment + Construction machinery + Automotive, diesel, electrical, or mechanical systems* Experience with machine control installations is a plus. but **not required*** Willingness and aptitude to learn heavy equipment operation and advanced technology **Growth & Career Development**This isn’t a “dead-end” technician role. We also offer time off for our employees to recharge. Our employees are eligible for paid company holidays, paid personal time off, and paid sick time that meets or exceeds state/local requirements. All paid time off policies are in accordance with or exceeding local law. Employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for our Health and Welfare benefit package.
