Job Title: RN Behavioral Health Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, CPI/MOAB required Must-Have: Previous Epic experience within the last 12 months required Description: Will be required to work at both campuses based on staffing needs. Delivers care to patients and assists in monitoring, observing, and reporting reactions to treatments and changes in behavior. Participates in the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to various patient populations including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, psychiatric, substance abuse, and detoxification. Previous mental health experience is preferred. While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, the traveler is expected to arrive on-site within one hour. Unit requires weekend and holiday rotations.
