Industrial Account Manager

Job Title and Location Industrial Account Manager – In the Field, Little Rock, AR or Bentonville/Fayetteville, AR. This role requires approximately 35% overnight travel within the designated field territory. Job Overview As an Industrial Account Manager, you will serve as a remote/field representative for the Industrial Sales team across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. Your responsibilities will include managing, growing, and developing a sales territory that encompasses a matrix of distribution customers, representing the full breadth of Stanley Black & Decker industrial solution brands: DeWalt, Stanley, Lenox, Proto, and Irwin. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate the value of Stanley Black & Decker’s product portfolio and services by identifying target opportunities, running product trials, and providing cost‑savings analysis reports. Identify end‑user application needs to recommend the most cost‑effective product that improves customer economic efficiency. Support customers with ongoing sales service, including sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions. Manage administrative duties such as expense reporting, paperwork, forecasts, gap plans, and other leadership requests. Motivate and inform distributors about product knowledge and keep sales personnel focused on technical services as value‑added service. Create and present a value‑based communication method with distribution partners and end users. Troubleshoot, repair, align, and calibrate equipment; conduct product performance trials to achieve optimal performance. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience in a shop environment. 2+ years of direct sales experience in industrial sales (strongly preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with Salesforce.com or another CRM (preferred). Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines. Time‑management skills and ability to set priorities. Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is preferable. Ability to develop and present programs to customers and the sales organization. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
