Location: Florida Turnpike, Mile Marker 263, Ocoee, FL, 34761 Position Title: LeadReports To: Unit General Manager or Retail/Restaurant ManagerDepartment: OperationsStatus: Non-ExemptSalary: *This position is eligible to receive tips*Broad Functions: The Lead contributes to the restaurant’s success by assisting the Unit General Manager andor the Restaurant/Retail Manager in executing store sales and operational goals. This job assists and supervisesa team to create and maintain a good experience for our guests and shift members. The Lead is responsible formodeling and acting in accordance with Areas USA’s high standards and guiding principles in absence of theConcept Manager or Assistant Manager. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Models a “guest comes first” attitude, delivers excellent guest service, and supervisesshift employees to ensure they are delivering excellent guest service. Constantly reviews store environment to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities forimprovement, to provide coaching and direction to the shift, to achieve sales and operationalgoals. Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’srecipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. Assist with the training of new associates during shift creating a positive and productive workingenvironment. Execute Operational Excellence to achieve company objectives in terms of service, quality,appearance, sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the store. Maintains and models a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unusual eventsand moves on immediately after to keep store operating to standard and to set an example forthe shift or team. Communicates to management on any recommendations for improvement Execute Brilliant at the Basics GUEST program to company standards. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: One to two years of employment in a related position. Minimum High School Diploma, some College preferred Knowledge of the Restaurant environment. Exceptional sales and operational skills in a guest service environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team-building and strong problem-solving skills. Ability to use discretion in providing direction to others. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to act with a “guest comes first” attitude and deliver guest service that meets or exceedsguest expectations. Ability to communicate and execute management directives. May require knowledge of computer equipment or other technical devices or broadknowledge in several operational areas.
