Welder - 1st Shift

Crown Staffing is now hiring a full-time Welder in St. Charles , MO!
Monday-Friday | 6am-2:30pm | $24/hr
Required Skills/Abilities:
o Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
o MIG welding experience.
Responsibilities:
o Setups and operates welders to hand weld products in a safe, efficient, quality and ergonomic manner.
o Adjusts welders as needed to maintain part quality.
o Continuously produces at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision. (70%)
o Capable of setting own machine for materials welded, producing little smoke or splatter.
o Produces acceptable-quality welds with good workmanship and very few rejects.
o Consistently produces at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision. (80%)
o Has ability to produce products in fixtures and which components are required for the products.
o Produces high quality welds with good workmanship and minimal rejects.
o Completes own work to print requirements.
o Reads and understands prints and symbols
o Able to manufacture products to specifications without a fixture. This is accomplished using a weld table, prints, tapes measure, protractor, clamps, etc.
o Professionally communicates production issues, seeks clarification and resolution from front line employees and management.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
