Job Summary

The Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of pool construction and renovation projects. This role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
• Lead kickoff meetings, daily briefings, and regular status updates with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against milestones, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication between design, engineering, procurement, and field crews to keep work flowing smoothly.
• Prepare and present project status reports for senior leadership and clients.
• Oversee permitting processes, inspections, and compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Manage on‑site activities, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments, maintain risk registers, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Close out projects with final walkthroughs, documentation, and post‑project reviews.

Must‑Have Qualifications (Essential)

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 3–6 years of proven project management experience, preferably in pool or similar construction environments.
• Proficiency with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and budget tracking software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, structural plans, and technical specifications.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams and subcontractors.
• Solid knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications (Desired Experience)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
• Hands‑on experience delivering multiple simultaneous pool projects from concept through close‑out.
• Familiarity with construction‑specific software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
• Experience coordinating with municipal permitting agencies and third‑party inspectors.
• Track record of achieving projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and promote continuous improvement.
