TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203!

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3-4 Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required, strong critical care experience preferred License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: - Cardiac experience - Advanced skills in PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring; IABP; Impella; CRRT preferred Description: This position is not an auto-offer. Candidates must have cardiac experience. The unit has 32 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Student nurse externs are available as techs. A unit secretary is available Monday through Friday from 0730 to 1530. Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors. Documentation is done using Meditech. Scheduling requires 4-week schedules with 3-4 weekend shifts per scheduling period. Staff may float to other units depending on census needs. There are no specific patient experience requirements. The unit performs central line insertion, Swan insertion, and intubations. There is a growing cardiogenic shock program with specialized healthcare providers. Excellent teamwork and engaged staff are emphasized. Recognition and awards include participation in Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award recipients.
