Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for obtaining blood specimens from patients by a variety of techniques and performs a variety of clerical and minor technical functions. Greets and directs all outpatients to the appropriate department for testing. Performs clerical functions such as filing, answering telephones, assuring smooth departmental operations.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Science courses preferred.

Certification: BLS required.

Experience: Phlebotomy skills required. Computer skills required.
