Generating $1.1 billion in annual revenue, the Company serves farmers and agribusiness managers in over 100 countries and currently operates 19 manufacturing facilities across 5 continents, employing more than 3600 people.The North America team is seeking a Technical Service Specialist for our Assumption, IL facility to help educate GPT dealer network in repairing, installing, maintenance, and operation of GPT grain equipment, with a primary focus on Material Handling products such as conveyors and bucket elevators. Provide technical assistance via contact center, e-mail, and mobile devices and occasionally support via site visits assisting and teaching the dealer network in servicing GPT equipment.Your ImpactProviding specialized technical support for Material Handling equipment, including belt conveyors, chain conveyors, and bucket elevatorsSupporting installation best practices and operational optimization specifically for Material Handling product linesUtilizing Salesforce & Natterbox systems to provide remote technical support accordinglyDocumenting call details into Salesforce Case Management System for future collaboration with internal support teams – Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and WarrantyParticipating in and leading product cross training opportunities to develop above average product knowledge of GSI product portfolioPresenting and teaching in classroom and hands-on environment to train team members & Dealer technicians on the construction and operation of product offeringsYour Experience and Qualifications3+ years of experience with Material Handling / Storage equipmentStrong communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of electric circuits, wiring schematics and drawings (Mechanical aptitude, pneumatic & hydraulic experience a plus)Broad understanding of all GPT grain products, preferredAbility to develop training materials and train others on service, troubleshooting and operation of GPT product linesAbove average negotiation and conflict resolution skillsAbove average business writing skillsAbove average facilitation skillsYour Compensation and BenefitsExpected annual salary for this role will be $60,000 – $90,000, plus eligible for an annual bonus.
