Technical Recruiter (Full Cycle)

Perplexity is an AI-powered answer engine founded in December 2022. We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to partner closely with engineering leadership and drive a best-in-class hiring experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a full-cycle technical recruiter in high-growth environments, strong stakeholder management, creative sourcing strategies, and the ability to deliver high-quality hires in a fast-paced startup setting. This role requires operational excellence and storytelling with a comprehensive understanding of the AI market and technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Partner, develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent.
- Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and updates.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and team dynamics.
- Negotiate job offers and close candidates.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and refine processes to improve efficiency and quality of hires.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in technical recruiting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience.
- Experience working at a high growth startup.
- Proven track record of successfully placing top-tier technical talent.
- Fluency with varied ATS systems.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The cash compensation range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Equity: In addition to the base salary, equity may be part of the total compensation package.
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents. Includes a 401(k) plan.
