Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in San Juan Capistrano as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This district currently has three full-time leaves of absence available, with immediate and scheduled start dates through late December—plus a high likelihood of continued work through the end of the academic year. You’ll play an important role in providing direct services and assessments to preschool, elementary, and middle school students, making a tangible impact every day.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active California SLP License required
• Prior experience in school settings, including working with preschool, elementary, or middle school students, is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative, flexible mindset for working alongside educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services to a caseload averaging 55 students per assignment
• Deliver therapy sessions and interventions as outlined in students’ IEPs
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Travel between assigned school sites within San Juan Capistrano may be required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and progress
