Key Opportunities:

• No cardiac fellowship required: This is a unique chance for pediatric anesthesiologists to undergo specialized in-house cardiac anesthesia training, providing valuable hands-on experience.
• Major expansion in progress: A $300 million project is underway to develop a new 90-bed Pediatric Heart Tower, featuring 2 operating rooms, 2 catheterization labs, MRI and CT facilities, a cardiac NICU, and a unit for adult congenital patients.
• Collaborative academic setting: Join a team of 22 pediatric cardiologists, including 2 cardiac surgeons, 3 interventional specialists, 1 electrophysiologist, and 1 advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist.
• Growing team: Currently, there are 3 pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, 4 dedicated CRNAs, and 90 specialized nursing staff, with plans to expand to 5 anesthesiologists.
• Annual case volume: Approximately 265 pump cases are handled each year.
