Consumer and Lifestyle AI Training Evaluator

Role Overview

Apply your consumer and lifestyle expertise to help evaluate and improve advanced AI systems. Your judgment will help establish the standards used to assess AI responses in areas where practical knowledge, cultural context, and real-world constraints matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic consumer questions from your area of expertise, including relevant context, constraints, and a reference answer for evaluating model responses.
• Assess AI recommendations for accuracy, practicality, safety, product availability, budget fit, setting, and cultural relevance.
• Identify answers that may sound convincing but could lead to poor outcomes because of price, availability, seasonality, or local norms.

Qualifications

• Professional experience or substantial practical expertise in a consumer category.
• Strong written communication and the ability to explain your reasoning clearly.
• Comfort working with ambiguous tasks and raising concerns when instructions are unclear.
• Relevant expertise may include sports and athletics, fitness and wellness, film, television and pop culture, gaming and esports, food and drink, travel and geography, fashion and personal style, shopping and retail, consumer electronics and smart home, or home and family life.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly independent contractor work.
• This is an ongoing talent pool, not a specific active project. Matching projects may begin on short notice.
• Project invitations are sent when a need aligns with your category expertise. Each project listing will specify its rate, hours, client, and hiring process.
• This listing itself does not make acceptance or rejection decisions. Contact may come within a week or take several months, depending on available projects.

Compensation

Consumer and lifestyle projects have offered $50 to $75 per hour. Final rates are determined by each project’s scope and depth.

Eligibility

Complete registration once to remain eligible for matching across all networks for which you qualify. Completing the domain-expert interview and joining each applicable network may improve your likelihood of receiving a project invitation.
