About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of X-ray experience required License: Michigan license verification required Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience with X-ray, Travel Description: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision. Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients. Ensures the needs of individual patients are met. Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including, but not limited to, X-ray. Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results.
