Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour Emergency Department care
• Evaluate and treat Emergency Department patients
• Manage acute and emergent medical conditions
• Stabilize critically ill patients
• Coordinate care with ICU and Progressive Care Unit teams
• Coordinate specialty consultations and admissions
• Work collaboratively with surgical, cardiac, obstetric, neonatal, psychiatric, and medical services
• Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging and hospital resources
• Document patient care appropriately

• Approximately 100 Emergency Medicine patients per day at the main site

Requirements

• Board Certified Emergency Medicine through ABEM - Required
• ATLS - Required
• ACLS - Required
• PALS - Required
• Ability to provide 24-hour Emergency Department coverage
• Ability to manage high-acuity emergency patients
• Ability to coordinate care with multiple hospital specialty services

Credentialing

ABEM Board Certification is required.

ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
