Job Details

We are hiring a CDL A Driver for Port and Yard Operations in Compton/Signal Hill, California area, offering $31 per hour. This position involves local deliveries with a focus on safety and efficiency in handling equipment. You will enjoy the benefit of being home daily, supported by a dedicated TransForce team that prioritizes your needs and safety.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $31 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift: Day Shift (6 AM - 4 PM)
Home Daily

What You'll Be Doing

Transporting and repositioning containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities.
Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documenting conditions of equipment.
Utilizing technology for real-time tracking and communication regarding assignments and updates.
Assisting warehouse personnel with strategic trailer placement when needed.

What You Need

Valid CDL A
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
6+ months of recent and verifiable PORT experience
Current DOT Medical Certificate
TWIC Card required (or ability to obtain immediately)
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 23 years old
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
