Director of Product

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an ambitious, customer-obsessed, and execution-oriented Director of Product to help lead the next phase of our product growth. This is a senior product leadership role for someone who can operate at the intersection of healthcare technology, B2B SaaS, AI-enabled product development, platform strategy, workflow automation, customer discovery, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate has experience building and scaling complex SaaS products, ideally in healthcare, enterprise software, public sector technology, care coordination, member engagement, or another workflow-heavy environment. This role is U.S.-based, with preference for candidates working on EST or CST. The Director of Product will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, AI, Customer Success, Sales, Implementation, Security, and Executive Leadership to define product strategy, translate customer needs into scalable platform capabilities, and ensure we deliver high-impact products that create measurable value for customers and end users.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own and evolve key areas of our product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan. Translate company goals, customer needs, market trends, operational insights, and technical constraints into clear product priorities. Partner with Executive Leadership, Engineering, Design, Data, AI, and GTM teams to define product direction across platform capabilities, AI-powered workflows, user experiences, reporting, integrations, and customer-facing tools. Balance short-term customer needs with long-term platform scalability, usability, and strategic differentiation. Drive clarity around what we build, why it matters, how we measure success, and how product decisions support business growth. Customer Discovery & Market Understanding Develop a deep understanding of our customers, users, workflows, and market. Lead customer discovery, user research, workflow analysis, and feedback loops to identify high-impact product opportunities. Translate complex healthcare, operational, and administrative workflows into intuitive, scalable product experiences. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Support to understand customer pain points, expansion opportunities, churn risks, enterprise requirements, and recurring product gaps. Use customer insights, data, and business context to prioritize the highest-value problems to solve. AI-Enabled Product Development Lead product strategy for AI-enabled and automation-driven product experiences. Partner with AI, Data, Engineering, and Design teams to define use cases, requirements, user experience, success metrics, guardrails, and production-readiness for AI-powered features. Ensure AI capabilities solve real customer problems, improve operational efficiency, and create measurable customer and user impact. Develop feedback loops and product metrics to evaluate AI quality, workflow adoption, user trust, accuracy, consistency, and business value. Help ensure AI-powered capabilities are integrated into the broader platform in a scalable, reliable, and user-centered way. Product Execution Own product requirements, prioritization, release planning, and delivery coordination across multiple engineering and product workstreams. Write clear product briefs, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, release documentation, and internal enablement materials. Partner closely with Engineering and QA to ensure product requirements are well-scoped, technically feasible, testable, and delivered with quality. Drive product execution from discovery through launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration. Hold teams accountable to outcomes, not just feature delivery. Help evolve the product from a set of strong capabilities into a scalable, integrated platform. Lead product thinking across multi-product workflows, configurable customer needs, integrations, reporting, user roles, permissions, data flows, and administrative experiences. Partner with Engineering and Architecture to make smart tradeoffs between customer-specific requests and scalable platform capabilities. Support product strategy for complex integrations, data interoperability, enterprise customer requirements, and platform extensibility. Ensure the product can scale across different customer types, use cases, workflows, and operational environments. Cross-Functional Leadership Serve as a senior product partner to Engineering, Design, Data, AI, Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Operations, Security, and Executive Leadership. Communicate product priorities, tradeoffs, roadmap decisions, launch plans, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Partner with GTM teams on positioning, enablement, customer communications, demos, launches, adoption, and expansion opportunities. Influence without authority and drive alignment across teams in a fast-moving startup environment. Create clear operating rhythms between Product, Engineering, GTM, and Customer Success. Product Metrics & Impact Define and track product success metrics across adoption, engagement, workflow completion, customer value, operational efficiency, AI performance, and business impact. Use data, customer feedback, and qualitative insights to guide prioritization and product iteration. Build a culture of outcome-driven product development, not just feature delivery. Evaluate product performance after launch and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure product decisions are tied to measurable customer, user, and company impact. Compliance, Security & Trust Partner with Engineering, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure product decisions support healthcare privacy, security, auditability, and enterprise trust requirements. Ensure data workflows, permissions, reporting, integrations, and AI-enabled features are designed with privacy, safety, and compliance in mind. Support enterprise-readiness for large healthcare, public sector, and community-focused organizations. Help ensure product documentation, workflows, and requirements reflect regulated customer expectations.
