Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Impella experience is a must.

Unit Details: This department performs before-, during-, and after-care of invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures/studies to treat cardiac and vascular arterial, venous, and structural heart disorders, cardiac rhythm abnormalities, implant and remove devices and leads, and conduct therapeutic ablations. Monitors electrocardiogram (EKG) and hemodynamic parameters during procedures, calculates shunt and valve data, and reports changes in patient condition to the physician. Uses the computerized MIDAS system, Datascope Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Baxter Cardiac Output, Automated Coagulation Timer (ACT) machine, American Optical Unistat Oximeter, Medrad injector, Life Pak, defibrillator, Sony digital systems, and GE Advantx X-ray system.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri start 7am, 8am or 9am (staggered shifts). Call schedule: anything after hours; days of the week depends on the week, 1 or 2 days a week, 1 or 2 weekends a month (every other weekend).

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles. Nurses float to the CV holding (pre op/post op).

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
