Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead

The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead (GMAL) provides strategic and tactical scientific support for Sarepta's gene therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Responsibilities: Contribute to development and execution of GMA strategy for product launch and life-cycle management to align therapeutic-area initiatives with corporate and medical priorities. Develop medical materials (slides, talking points) for gene therapy and DMD; ensure cross-functional program alignment and participate in review processes. Serve as SME to review and approve medical and promotional materials, including congress materials and symposia. Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan and execute tactics. Stay current on medical/scientific developments via literature and scientific meetings. Support dissemination of scientific/medical impact to key stakeholders (physicians and payers). Contribute to congress, symposia, advisory board, and expert committee strategy and content creation. Serve as a role model of integrity and compliance; perform other related duties as needed. Travel approximately quarterly. Qualifications: Doctorate (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 5+ years of relevant experience (required). Preferred: experience in gene therapy, rare neuromuscular disorders, or related fields. Skills/Abilities: Analytical; delivers goals in diverse teams. Strong influencing skills in highly matrixed organizations. Relationship-building with thought leaders and healthcare professionals. Manages multiple tasks and deadlines; strategic thinking; excellent communication. Domestic and international travel as needed.
