Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance ElectricianDirect hire. 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm. Pay: ($38-$42) - depends on experience/interview.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Controls Technician or strong Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced and hands-on environment. The role involves maintaining the electrical systems of multiple custom lines and downstream systems, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability. The Controls Technician will play a pivotal role in strengthening production line performance and leading electrical and controls aspects of new projects.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to maintain production line efficiency.Navigate PLCs for system diagnostics without programming.Conduct equipment maintenance and facility support.Provide technical leadership within the maintenance team.Develop junior technicians and enhance team capabilities.Ensure proper documentation and adherence to system design standards.Essential SkillsStrong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment.Ability to work on 480 volt systems.Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and motor control circuits.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.Understanding of safety circuits and basic troubleshooting.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechatronics, or Automation/Controls Technology.Completion of a state-recognized electrical apprenticeship or military electrical/technical training.3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or electrical roles.Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware for online diagnostics.Familiarity with NFPA 70E and industrial electrical safety practices.Job Type & LocationThis is a permanent position based out of Hilliard, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $79040.00 - $87360.00/yr.
