Make a meaningful impact this fall by supporting young learners during a key period in their education. This 12-week contract position is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to provide targeted, in-person services to early childhood students. Your expertise will help students reach their communication goals in accordance with their IEPs, while you work collaboratively with a dedicated educational team.

Key Qualifications:

• Active CCC-SLP certification is required
• Experience working in schools or with young children is highly preferred
• Deep commitment to delivering compassionate, effective speech and language therapy
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Understanding of state and federal regulations related to speech-language services in educational settings
• Reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of a temporary maternity leave

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to preschool and early elementary-aged students in alignment with IEP objectives
• Assess, document, and track student progress in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
• Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to support student development
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with educational standards and confidentiality requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning as needed

This opportunity runs from August 19th through the end of October, offering a chance to make a difference with a manageable, short-term commitment. The role is onsite at the Early Childhood Center to best serve the needs of these young students.
