Recognized on Travel + Leisure's 2023 It List as one of "The 100 Best New Hotels in the World".We are actively searching for a Rooms Operations ManagerJob Summary:The Rooms Operation Manager supports the successful execution of all operations in the Rooms Division with a focus on Front Office. Strives to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction, while maximizing the financial performance of the department.Responsibilities:Supports the Rooms Operations Team by organizing, directing and monitoring the daily activities of guest services and liaise with the housekeeping department as well as other departments of the Hotel.Strives to continually improve guests and team member satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the division.Maintains complete knowledge at all times of daily house count, expected arrivals/departures, scheduled in-house group activities, all room rates, special packages and promotions; communicates information to appropriate staff.Develops, implements, and maintains programs/processes to enhance guest satisfaction and ensure front office operations are efficient and profitable.Ensures that guests' needs are fulfilled and their stay is as pleasurable as possible; assists with dining, entertainment, or transportation reservations as needed.Assists front office staff with resolution of guest problems/complaints as needed.Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and policies and area's attractions.Prepares accurate and timely reports as required.Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and develops front office staff; manages schedules and workflow.Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and safety regulations.Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.Route and/or respond to text-based inquiries from guests as a key point of contact while on the property and as part of off-property escalation plan.Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.Required Skills/Abilities:Two years of Hospitality Management Experience preferredExperience supervising and overseeing staff in a fast-paced service industry settingLifestyle/luxury hotel experience required, opening experience a plus.Superior knowledge of San Francisco food, entertainment, and event optionsPower user of guest survey, reviews and reservation toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; extremely personable and welcomingPay Range$75,000- $80,000Company Benefits:Generous Paid Time Off plan, up to Five Weeks per YearPart-time Employees are also eligible for PTOMedical / Dental / Vision Insurance after 30 days of Service401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchHotel Travel ProgramsLocal Retailers DiscountPre-Tax Commuter BenefitCompany Paid Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death & DismembermentVoluntary Short-Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD)Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance and Accidental Death & DismembermentVoluntary Critical Illness, Accident Insurance and Hospital IndemnityEOE: Northview Hotel Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
