How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Set up the operating suite with required sterile drapes, solutions, and both sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies customized to the specific procedure.
• Assist with the safe preparation, transportation, positioning, and draping of patients to ensure comfort, dignity, and optimal surgical access.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and efficiently hand required or requested instruments and supplies during the procedure to maintain a smooth surgical flow.
• Maintain all instruments in a highly organized manner while strictly monitoring and tracking instrument counts throughout the procedure to ensure patient safety.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 2+ years CST experience in Trauma OR
