Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 54-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform and document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans using Epic EMR
• Demonstrate IV start skills as a core component of patient care delivery
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November), as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• IV start skills required
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Experience with management of cardiac drips (cardiac gtts)
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
