Role

As a member of the CCI team and BIM Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Responsibility in leading the Technician I and Technician II employees in all phases of development and transition. The BIM Manager will display strong leadership skills and a willingness to tackle the challenges that arise. Collaboratively work with production staff to solve for challenges or concerns with the various computer software programs utilized.

Job Requirements

• Set training opportunities and agenda for Technician I and Technician II employees.
• Ensure that Technician I and Technician II employees are being trained properly.
• Review work of Technician I and Technician II employees to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with production work as needed.
• Monitor workflow to make sure tasks are completed correctly and timely.
• Oversee/participate in software updates.
• Evaluate current and new software that can assist with improved production in the technician group and production staff as a whole.
• Oversee that equipment (plotter, computers, etc.) is working as required.
• Oversee the allocation of technician staff to specific tasks to ensure production staff is supported appropriately.
• Evaluate the technician staff and develop accordingly.
• Develop and maintain technician manual.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• A 2-year Associates degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with an architectural or engineering firm.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in management of personnel.
• Intimate knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Be motivated by growth opportunities for themselves, others and CCI.
• Passion for providing the highest level of services to CCI's clients.
• Possess good organizational skills; be capable of understanding client needs; prioritizing and coordinating work; making informed decisions; and executing quality work.
