Tax Supervisor

We are a local CPA firm of about 50 employees located in Colorado Springs, CO, about an hour and a half south of Denver, with employees fully remote around the continental united states. We are growing quickly and looking to grow our family of CPAs so we can keep the work load to a minimum. We know public accounting can be a hectic so we do what we can to keep you within the 40-45 hour range year round. We always look to promote within before finding outside talent, so we are looking for individuals looking to get on a strong path of growth with desires for a path to partnership.What You Will Be DoingAs a tax supervisor for us, you will be tasked with client management, tax compliance, tax planning, business consulting, tax return preparation and review. You will oversee a team of tax associates and help mentor them to grow to the potential that they have. Our associates must be keen with tax planning and research for a range of clients, and have excellent client retention skills. You will also need to be adept at reviewing tax returns, spotting and rectifying mistakes, and ensuring that filing is done properly in a timely manner.
