Registered Nurse In Cardiovascular Operating Room

Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. The RN will work in a fast-paced operating room environment. The role requires rotating day off and holiday rotation. The RN will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing in procedures. Expect average caseload of 35-50 cases per day with less than 20 minutes for turnovers. The unit includes a variety of service lines including cardiac, neuro, and trauma. The RN will perform both scrub and circulatory duties as needed. Call responsibilities include weekends from Friday evening to Monday morning. Orientation period is included to familiarize the RN with general operating room procedures and circulatory flow. The RN will be expected to float across campuses as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months recent operating room experience, specifically in cardiovascular cases.
