Forging Press Operator / Heat Treat - 2nd Shift

$20 - $21 per hour

Key Skilled Personnel

Job Title: Forging Press Operator / Heat Treat
Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) Training on 1st shift
Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour

Essential Job Functions:

Setting up 3000 ton press for forging operation,
Operating 3000 ton forging press,
Loading of parts in the furnace for forging operation, operate & monitor furnaces,
Operate straightening press, read and follow detailed work instructions.
Proficient with cranes, hand tools and the ability to inspect their own work.

Qualifications Required:

Must be a U.S. Person (ITAR requirement)
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in the forging industry preferred but not required.
May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends
May need to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification
Must demonstrate the ability to read blueprints, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read and understand inspection tools i.e. calipers, dial indicators, machinist scale, etc.
